. . . is apparently a learned skill. one which nate hasn’t quite learned yet. we were heading back to “blue” (the van) today after a successful trip to village pointe when it happened. about a half to one inch variation in sidewalk height caught him just right, or wrong i guess. i saw it happen in slow motion though it was so fast there was nothing i could do to stop it. poor guy.
smiling a few hours later, but he sure was shaking in my arms after it happened.

he wanted me to wash it off (as in get rid of, not to clean) before bed.

although nate didn’t find the following picture painful, brad and i sure did. yikes. if a pair only lasts 6 weeks, we have some major budget issues!!!

someone really needs to teach the guy to put his hands out when falling though. it’s never fun to catch yourself with your face!

Hmm, this does remind me of something. Maybe when you made me run down the rocky driveway and encountered similar injuries. Way to look out for your little sister.

Poor Nate. Hope he feels better. Bummer about the glasses- they need damage insurance like you can buy for cell phones.

poor guy, that looks like it really hurt, it’s a good thing the glasses didn’t break and go in his eye, ofcourse they probably make kids glasses in with plastic lenses right?

Oh poor Nate. I hope he heals quickly and that you have some “insurance” on the glasses. Glad it wasn’t worse though…no broken bones from what I read.
